Wireless In Ear Monitor or Prompter 16 channel UHF 863-865MHz UK Licence Free.
For in-ear monitoring on stage for bands, singers and performers, or for conferences, political talk shows and theatres where someone off-stage needs to discreetly talk to someone on stage.
IN EAR MONITOR FOR MUSICIANS
For use as an in-ear monitor system for musicians, the monitor output from your stage mixer is connected to the input on the wireless transmitter via the cable. This is transmitted to the wireless receiver belt-pack which is clipped to the musician's clothing. The single ear-piece is then plugged into the beltpack and fitted over one ear. This allows the other ear to hear the rest of the on-stage sound. To block out all on-stage sound an optional extra pair of in-ear monitors can be purchased which insert into each ear. These block out almost all other sound on stage except the monitor mix.
IN EAR STAGE PROMPT SYSTEM
The prompter or person off-stage stands in the wings and speaks into the lapel / tie-clip microphone. This is connected with a short cable to a small pocket wireless transmitter which transmits the speech via radio frequency.
The talk show presenter, lecturer or stage performer has an earpiece headphone plugged into a small pocket receiver which receives the speech prompt.
IN EAR WIRELESS SYSTEM FREQUENCY
The wireless system has 16 available channels in the UHF 863 - 865MHz radio frequency band. This is LICENCE FREE in the UK now and after the DSO (Digital Switch Over) during 2011 / 2012.
Multiple receiver units can be set to the same frequency and they will all receive the same monitor mix or voice prompts.
A 3.5mm mono mini-jack line input socket allows connection of audio playback from an MP3 / iPod, laptop, CD player, cassette or similar audio device. The wireless transmitter also has a built-in microphone for use without the tie-clip mic.
This flexible wireless prompter system is perfect for conference venues, halls, theatres and small TV production studios.
